My name is Stella Trickett and I am currently a junior at Guilderland High School in upstate New York. I have always been fascinated by the medical field and its continuously broadening horizons.

 

Due to having a Chinese mother, I have been exposed from an early age to a myriad of natural remedies from the Far East that would treat things like allergies, colds, and rashes. On my father's side, my aunt and grandmother have introduced me to many methods for curing common sicknesses without having to buy over the counter drugs.

 

Over the course of this summer and upcoming year, I plan to compare and contrast Western medicine and Eastern Medicine (specifically Traditional Chinese Medicine).
